London NDP MPPs stand in solidarity with Western’s CUPE local 2361

LONDON – London MPPs Terence Kernaghan (London North Centre), Peggy Sattler (London West), and Teresa Armstrong (London-Fanshawe) released the following statement in support of workers supported by CUPE local 2361:

“We stand in solidarity with the workers who are fighting to ensure fair wages and fair working conditions – something that everyone deserves. The members of CUPE local 2361 work every day to ensure the smooth operation of campus life for Western students, from plumbing to cleaning services to outdoor maintenance and skilled trades. They deserve to make a living from the work they do and not have to work multiple jobs or visit the food bank to make ends meet. We expect to see the employer come to the table with a fair deal as soon as possible.”
